Mrs. Albert J. (Emma A.) Huebner, 84, formerly of 1607 Columbus St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning in Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Huebner, nee Emma Schuette, was born Feb. 1, 1893, in the Town of Centerville, daughter of the late John and Henriette Stock Schuette. She was educated in Town of Centerville School and was married to Albert J. Huebner Dec. 16, 1914, in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg. They farmed in the Town of Newton until 1918, when they moved to Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Sept. 2, 1975. Mrs. Huebner was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and a charter member of the ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law, Herbert and Lorraine Huebner of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Norbert and Elvi Huebner and Mrs. Edward (Norma) Huebner of Manitowoc; a brother, Ernest Schuette of Fennimore, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Two sons, Edward and Harold, five brothers, Herman, John, Gustave, August and William and two sisters, Mrs. Sophie Rosso and Miss Mary Schuette preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and in the church Saturday from noon until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church building fund or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
