GEORGE A. HUEBNER

George A. Huebner, 59, of 1127 Windiate St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, Dec. 24,
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Arthur C. Senn will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Huebner was born Nov. 14 1922, at Manitowoc, son of the late Edwin and
Beatrice Prokosh Huebner. He grew up and attended local schools in Manitowoc
and was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1940. After returning
from serving in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946 serving overseas, he then
attended Kansas City School of Watchmaking and was employed with Bendix Corporation
for 23 years returning to Manitowoc in 1974 where he was employed for Manitowoc
Engineering since that time. He married Iola Evrard, 1948, at Kansas City, Mo. Mr.
Huebner was a member of Experimental Aviation Association Chapter No. 383 of
Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Jeffrey at home; a daughter, Karen Caramellia
of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Ralph Huebner of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. John
(Marjorie) Dempsey of Temple Texas and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 9th St. Chapel,
11 a.m. Monday until the time of services.
