WILLIAM HUSS

William K. Huss, 78, of 209 Riverview Dr., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. David A. Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Huss was born Jan. 22, 1900 in Berneck, Germany, son of the late Jacob and Christine Kuehnl Huss. Immigrating to the United States in 1923, he lived in Davenport, Iowa prior to moving to Manitowoc. Sept. 5, 1931 he married Sophia Carlson in Manitowoc. He had been employed 25 years with Color Craft Printing Co., Manitowoc, retiring in 1970. Mr. Huss was a 45 year member of Eagles Aerie 706 and a 50 year member of the Frier-Saenger-Bund.
Survivors include his wife, a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Jeannette Huss of Valdosta, Ga.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Ronald Bernhardt of Manitowoc and Christine and Pal Schill of Milwaukee; a brother, Paul Huss of Sheldon, Ill.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 pm to 9 pm Friday and Saturday morning prior to the time of service.
