Huwatschek, 621 N. 8th street, died Sunday afternoon at Holy Family hospital
after a short illness.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wattawa, Urbanek
& Schlei funeral home with the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
Mrs. Huwatschek was the widow of George Huwatschek, who died 10 years ago. Born
Francine Bauman in Germany Jan. 11, 1853, she came to Manitowoc 68 years ago.
The survivors are four sons, Dr. Frank Huwatschek of Belleville, Ill., Dr. George
of this city, Oscar of Chciago and Edwin of Savannah, Ga., one brother, George
Baumann and one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Hausman, both of Germany, two grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.
