Mrs. Louise Huwatschek, 69 (above), of 621 North Eighth St., Manitowoc, wife
of Dr. George Huwatschek, retired Manitowoc dentist, died suddenly Monday
evening at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Schmitz, a nephew, will officiate
and interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Louise Mueller in Reedsville in 1882, daughter of the late Mr.
and Mrs. Gustave Mueller. The family moved to Manitowoc, where her father for
many years was a prominent brewer. Following her marriage to Dr. Huwatschek
the couple made Manitowoc their home.
Mrs. Huwatschek was a charter member of the Eastern Star, which organization
will have charge of the funeral rites.
Survivors are her husband; daughter, Mrs. R. A. Keller of Manitowoc; son, Dr.
E. G. Huwatschek of Port Washington, Wis.; five grandchildren, Mrs. Lincoln
Smith, Neil, Ned and Lenys Ann Huwatschek of Port Washington, and Robert Keller
of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Nespor and Mrs. Clara Schmitz of Manitowoc;
two brothers, Dr. A. H. Mueller of Chicago and Fred Mueller of Berkeley, Calif.
Friends may call at the funeral home until the hour of services.
