ANNA JACOBSEN (d. 1974)

Mrs. John (Anna) Jacobsen, 85, of 1423 Clark St., Manitowoc, died Thursday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Jacobsen, nee Anna Bermke, was born Aug. 20, 1888, in the Town of
Centerville, daughter of the late William and Emma Opitz Bermke. She was
a Manitowoc resident most of her life. She was married to John Jacobsen,
April 28, 1923, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Dec. 20, 1956. She
was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran church, the Ladies Aid
Society of the church and the Auxiliary of Drews-Bleser Legion Post No. 88.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. O.W. (Elizabeth) Schmitz, of Sheboygan
and Mrs. William (Olive) Rehrauer, of Two Rivers and nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Elsie and Winnie, and a brother, Max, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 to
9 o'clock this Friday afternoon, until 11:30 a.m. Saturday and from noon
at the church until the time of service. Memorials may be made to First
German Evangelical Lutheran Building Fund.
