The former Ruth Trippler, was born on Dec. 20, 1915, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Arthur and Emily (Greunke) Trippler. She was a 1933 graduate of Lincoln High School. On Sept. 7, 1943, Ruthe married Robert M. Jagodensky at Moorfield, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1967. In the past Ruth had worked at Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Admissions.
(Survivors omitted for privacy.) Ruth was preceded in death by her paretns: Arthur and Emily Trippler; her husband: Robert M. Jagodensky; her son: Thomas Jagodensky; one sister: Grace Bloomberg.
A memorial serivce will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. 8th St., Manitowoc, with burial of her cremated remains to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Ruth's son-in-law, Tim Buck, will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of serivce at 1 p.m.
Tim and Nancy noted the extraordinary compassion and skill of Mandy, Tom, Karen, Tammy and Angela, CCU and floor nurses and express their utmost gratitude to them; particularly, Patrica and Chaplain Rahlf for heartfelt guidance and the entire staff; for each part contributes to the wonderful whole, which is Holy Family Memorial Hospital.
