Alex Homer Jagodinsky, 81, of 1337 S. 21st St., Manitowoc, died
unexpectedly Friday morning at the family residence.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in Pfeffer Funeral Home
and 11 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold
Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Jagodinsky was born Dec. 28, 1896, in Manitowoc, son of the late
Jacob and Antoinette Korlesky Jagodinsky. He married Josephine L.
Jagodinsky June 14, 1920, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr.
Jagodinsky owned and operated a tavern in Manitowoc until his
retirement. He was a 50 year member of Fraternal Order of Eagles
Aerie 706 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine, a son and daughter-in-law,
(private); a daughter, (private); two brothers, Ben, Adolph and
Walter of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Valerie Wells of Milwaukee and
two granddaughters, (private). A brother, Albert, and a sister,
Martha, preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Homes 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday,
where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
