FRANK JANESKY

Frank G. Janesky, 81, of 916 N. 22nd St., Manitowoc, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 10, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Phipps Memorial Chapel at First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. William B. Plank will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Janesky was born Oct. 2 (sic), 1901, in Poland, son of the late Michael and Rose Schiebel Janesky. The family came to the United States in 1902 and settled in Chicago before moving to Manitowoc in 1905. He married Muriel F. Kotick Dec. 12, 1942, at Manitowoc. Mr. Janesky had been a carpenter and cabinet maker for many years, retiring in 1969 from Burger Boat Company, Manitowoc. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Carpenters Union Local 849.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel, a daughter and son-in-law, Jay and Gene Gospodarek of Richton Park, Ill.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Caroline Janesky and Stanley and Dorothy Janesky of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Tomchek of Manitowoc and Miss Helen Janczecke of Medina, Minn.; a brother-in-law, Walter Broeker of Manitowoc, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Two sisters, Celia and Sophia preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Phipps Memorial Chapel after 12:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of service. Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
