Mr. Paul J. Jansky, died Sunday morning May 27, 2001, at the North Ridge Medical
and Rehabilitation Center of Manitowoc.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Dave Hoffman at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2001. Burial of his
cremated remains will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Paul was born May 31, 1915, in Manitowoc, son of the late Frank Jansky and Mary
Sladky Jansky. On Nov. 15, 1941, he married Estelle M. Zinski in Milwaukee. Paul
graduated from Lincoln High school in 1932. He attended St. Mary's College in
Winona, MN and Hohenschu College in St. Louis, MO, graduating as a Funeral Director
and Embalmer. Paul worked in that profession for many years. He later associated
with the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company and Whitehouse Milk Company in
Manitowoc as a laboratory chemist and technician.
Paul was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church, Manitowoc. Paul was an honorary
life member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #710, Manitowoc. He was also a
member of the YMCA.

Paul was preceded in death by one son, Richard, one daughter, Carol Jansky Wookey,
one grandson Frank Wookey; two brothers, Lawrence Jansky and his wife Pauline Gretz
Jansky; Rev Francis Jansky, S.J. Society of Jesus.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Manitowoc on Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is assisting the Jansky
Family with funeral arrangements.
