ALBERT JOHNSON

Albert Johnson, 69, of 3620 Forest Circle, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning in Holy Family Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 pm in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Revs. W. Schultz and H. Plucar will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 6, 1909 in ??, Mich., son of Eric and Louisa Matison Johnson. He was educated at Felch School. For several years, he worked for his father in Felch. In 1940, he married Viola Anderson of Chicago. They farmed in Oxford, Wis., and Felch, Mich. In 1946 he moved to a farm in Newton, where they resided until 1975 when they moved to Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters and a son-in-law, Elaine of Flint, Mich. and Velva and Stan DeVaney of Joliet, Ill., seven sisters, Emelia Sundquist of Manitowoc, Mary Kasen, Ester Kasen, Irene Anderson and Martha Johnson of Iron Mountain, Mich., Helene Ekstrom of St. Louis, Mo., and Elsie Backlund of Rio Dell, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Winnifred Johnson of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Todd and Tanya and nieces and nephews. A brother, Ernest Johnson preceded him in death in 1976.
Funeral arrangements are being handled through Jens Funeral home. There will be no visitation.
