Mrs. Julius Johnson, aged 66 years, died Sunday morning after a protracted
illness, at her home 609 Huron street. She is survived by her husband, two
daughters, Anna and Helen of Chicago and two step-sons, Andrew Johnson of
this city, and Mariner Johnson of Chicago. The funeral was held Tuesday
afternoon, Rev. Preus officiating.

Step-Mother of Andrew Johnson Dies on Sunday Morning at Her Home
After ailing for many years during which time she was in an enfeebled condition,
Mrs. Julius Johnson, step-mother of Andrew Johnson of the Wisconsin Pea Canners
Co., died Sunday morning at 7 o'clock at the family home, 609 Huron Street. She
was 66 years old. Although Mrs. Johnson was sick for many years, relatives did
not expect death at the time and the news was a shock to them. Deceased was born
in Norway and came to America when a girl. She was the second wife of Julius
Johnson, who with two daughters, Anna and Helen of Chicago and another step-son,
Morimer, also of that city survive her. Mrs. Johnson was well known to northside
people. The funeral will be held Tuesday at two o'clock from the church, the Rev.
Preus officiating.
