Mrs. Louise Jonas, 73, of 1012A S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died early Wednesday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. She had undergone surgery in October.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church Chapel,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Roland L. Schwandt will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Louise Rosinsky was born at Manitowoc May 1, 1898, daughter of the
late William and ____ Schmitt? R____. In ___ she was married at Manitowoc to
Hugo H. Jonas. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Ladies Guild of the church and the Order of Eastern
Star.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Melvin Kitzerow of Manitowoc, Mrs. James
Casson of Birnamwood, Wis., and Mrs. Marion Bremer of Chicago; a sister, Mrs.
Sophie Whitman of Manitowoc; three brothers, Walter and Fred, of Manitowoc and
William of Two Rivers; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Thursday until
10:30 a.m. Friday when the casket will be moved to the church chapel to lie in
state until the hour of service.
