Mrs. William Jorgensen, 65, of 2412 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died Monday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc, with the Rev. Myron Hoff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery Manitowoc.
Mrs. Jorgensen, nee Inga Anderson was born July 20, 1892 in the Town of
Glenmore, Brown County, daughter of the late Thomas and Caroline Telskad
Anderson. Aug. 1, 1917, she was married to William Jorgensen in the Town of
Glenmore and the couple resided there, moving to Manitowoc in 1941. She was
a member of St. Paul Lutheran Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Vernon of Manitowoc; three brothers,
Anton and Clarence of Denmark and Oscar of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, two sisters,
Mrs. Ray Halfrisch and Mrs. Myron Falck of Manitowoc; and a grandchild. A
sister preceded her in death five years ago.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home
and after 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
