Center, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, January 10, 1988 at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at
Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Glenn H. Unke will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Juedes was born May 12, 1909 in the Township of Grover, Marinette
County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Herman and Ida Ibsch Holtz. She
grew up and was educated at Peshtigo, Wisconsin. After her marriage to
Richard Juedes on October 20, 1926 at Peshtigo, the couple moved to
Reedsville. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1965. Mrs. Juedes
lived in Manitowoc county most of her life, residing in the city of
Manitowoc since 1974. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
church.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Edgar and Elaine
Juedes of Holcombe, Wisconsin, Thomas and Bonnie Juedes of Mountain,
Wisconsin, and Marvin and Nancy Juedes of Two Rivers; a daughter, Lila
May Decker of Manitowoc; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 son-in-law.
Friends may call at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church from 9 am
Wednesday to the time of services. There will be no Tuesday evening
visitation at Reinbold Pfeffer Urbanek and Schlei Funeral home, Manitowoc.
