Louis J. Kakuk III, 24, of 1130 East Thomas Street, Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon, May 26, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kakuk was born December 14, 1960, in Manitowoc, son of Louis S. and Jeanette Thielbar Kakuk Jr. He was a life long Manitowoc resident. Mr. Kakuk was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1979. He had been employed at Kaysun Corporation and was a member of local baseball and bowling teams.
Survivors include his parents; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Marc and Ann Kakuk of Two Rivers, Paul and Loree Kakuk of Two Rivers, Robert and Cheryl Kakuk of West Germany, Scott Kakuk and Daniel Kakuk, both of Manitowoc; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Kakuk of Manitowoc, his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ione Ballard of Tisch Mills and nieces and nephews also survived.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening and Wednesday prior to the services.
