Mrs. Christine (Kappy) Kapinos, 80, who resided with a niece, Mrs.
Jerome Junk, of 1513 Kuhl St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Schneider-Mittnacht
Funeral Home and at 11:15 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kapinos, nee Christine Reitinger, was born March 8, 1894, at New
Denmark, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Schwab Reitinger. Mrs.
Kapinos was a seamstress and most recently was employed at Johnson
Hills Store, Manitowoc, retiring 15 years ago. She was married to
Frank Kapinos June 29, 1915 at Glenmore, Wis. She was a member of
Holy Innocents parish and the Altar Society of the parish.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary Albrecht, a niece and four
nephews. An infant son and a brother, Frank, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m.
Friday, where a prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
