Mrs. Emily Kaufmann, 63, widow of Andrew Kaufmann, died Tuesday
evening at the Holy Family hospital following a lingering illness.
Her home is at 1008A S. Tenth street.
The body is at the Pfeffer funeral home where it may be viewed after
noon on Thursday. The Rev. E. O. Flagstead of the Gospel Tabernacle
will officiate at the funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. at the
funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Kaufmann, nee Emily Gehrke, was born near Chicago on April 18,
1880, and when a young girl, came to Manitowoc.
Survivors are Mrs. F. A. Bill, Manitowoc; Mrs. Ed Bialek, Manitowoc
Rapids; two sons, Leonard Bruechert, Rapids, and John Bruechert, Jr.,
city; a brother, William Gehrke, city; and a sister, Mrs. Lottie
Williams, Milwaukee.
