KATHARINA KAUFMANN
Mrs. Adam Kaufmann, 85, formerly of 1915 Wollmer St., Manitowoc,
died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N. W. Kock will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Kaufmann, the former Katharine Altergott, was born Aug. 28,
1881, daughter of the late Gottfried and Dorothy Borgwardt Altergott.
She was married to Mr. Kaufmann Oct. 1, 1906, at Hoshtuath, Russia,
and they immigrated to the United States and Sheboygan in 1913. A
year later they located at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death
Jan. 22, 1964.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Henry Aschenbrenner and Mrs. Casper
Seibel of Manitowoc, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after
3 p.m. Friday until Saturday noon and at the church until time of
service.
