FRED KAUTZER

Frederick (Fritz) Kautzer, 69, of 706 S 14th St Manitowoc, died Saturday
evening at Holy Family Hospital Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at
1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home Manitowoc. The Rev James
Stamborski will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kautzer was born Oct 31, 1905 at Auburndale Wis., is son of the late
Frank and Augusta Cutlow Kautzer. He married Nora M. Jurgens June 4, 1924
at Sheboygan. After their marriage they made their home in Manitowoc County,
and later at Manitowoc. He had been employed by Manitowoc County Highway
Dept. and then as a machinist at Manitowoc Engineering Co., retiring in
1967.
He was a member of Machinists Union Local 516. Mrs. Kautzer preceded him
in death Oct 14, 1972. Survivors include three sons, (private), two daughters,
(private); three sisters, Mrs. Leoma Johnson, of Kenosha and Mrs. Lucille
Mueller and Mrs Dave (Louise) Ehler, of Sheboygan, 18 grandchildren and 14
greatgrandchildren. A daughter and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 o clock this Monday
evening and Tuesday until the time of service
