LUCILLE KAUTZER
Lucille E. Kautzer, age 90, a resident of 1110 Elm St., Manitowoc, entered
into eternal life on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center in Two
Rivers.
Lucille was born on March 29, 1918, in Crookston, Minn., to the late Anton
and Lillian (Pierce) Skaren. After moving to Manitowoc, she had attended
Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. On June 26, 1937, Lucille married Ronald F.
Kautzer in Menominee, Mich. After 69 years of marriage, Ronald preceded her
in death on Jan. 10, 2006. Lucille was a housewife who was very proud of her
four wonderful children and her family. She enjoyed spending her time sewing,
gardening, and caring for her birds. Lucille was a wonderful mother that had
a great sense of humor, and always had put others before herself. She was a
member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Manitowoc.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Orville
(Mildred) Skaren, Clyde Skaren, and Ralph Skaren.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at St.
John's United Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral
service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. James Klein will officiate, with burial to
follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, N. 11th and St. Clair
streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to extend their special thanks to the staff of the
Aurora Medical Center in Green Bay and Two Rivers for the outstanding care
they provided to Lucille.
