Renata Kieselhorst, age 86, a former Manitowoc resident, died Sunday, December 31,
1995, at the Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center in Milwaukee, where she had been a
resident since February of 1991.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 1996, at Bethany
Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev.'s Robert Kujawski and Bruce McKenney will officiate with
burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Renata Haupt was born February 10, 1909, in the Town of Liberty,
Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Charles and Emma Rusch Haupt. She attended
local schools. On September 24, 1930, she married Norbert H. Kieslehorst, at Trinity
Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Liberty. He preceded her in death on October 27,
1987. Over the years, Renata worked at Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc. She was a
member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school at Bethany for many
years and was also active in the church choir.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Frederic Kieselhorst, Watertown,
Wis., Jerome and Janet Kieselhorst, Cedarburg, Wis.; five grandchildren, Lori and
her husband, Mark Eisenmann, Milwaukee, Nathan and his wife, Lisa Kieselhorst,
Watertown, Wis., Rev. Philip and his wife, Kathy Kieselhorst, Mainz, Germany, Paul
Kieselhorst, Greenfield, Wis., Kristen Kieselhorst, Cedarburg, Wis.; three great-
grandsons, Evan, Aaron and Austin Eisenmann, all of Milwaukee; one sister-in-law,
Gertrude Haupt, Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and
three brothers, Agon, Erich and Ottomar.
Family and friends may call at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m.
until the time of service.
Memorials wold be appreciated to the Kayla Garrigan Memorial Grade School Scholarship
Fund or to the tuition assistance fund of the Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
