Kathleen Kimmes, age 91, a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Kathleen was born on May 7, 1920 in Manitowoc to the late Ernest and Anna Stokes Dill. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1939. On September 20, 1947 Kathleen married Arthur A. Kimmes at Wesley United Methodist Church in Manitowoc. Arthur preceded her in death on May 7, 1968.
Survivors include a special niece with whom she made her home: Bette Haupt, Manitowoc; nephew: Robert (Jinny) Dill, Sarasota, FL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Jean Kimmes, Bob and Marilyn Salta, Matt and Carol Kimmes, all of Two Rivers; also nieces, nephews and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother, Ernest Dill Jr.; and niece: Kathleen Stuiber.
Private family services were held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc on Saturday, July 2, 2011. Rev.
