Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian
Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. A. C. Fischer, pastor of the First Reformed Church,
Manitowoc, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Klein, the former Emma Bedford, was born May 23, 1887, near Algoma, daughter
of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bedford. When a young girl she accompanied her
parents to Manitowoc and in 1915 was married to William Klein. She was a member
of the Westminster Circle of the church. Her husband died in 1941.
Mrs. Klein is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Marvin Belongea of Green Bay, Mrs.
Borg Oslon (sic) of Chicago and Mrs. Anthony Miller and Mrs. William Loos of
Manitowoc; a son, William D. Klein of Manitowoc; two brothers, Harry Bedford of
Sheboygan and Louis Peronto of Sawyer, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Walter Abel and
Mrs. Zoe Dubord of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 11 a.m. Tuesday
when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until
the hour of service.
