John A. Klein, age 75, formerly of 918 Chicago Street, Manitowoc, currently of The Manitowoc Health Care Center, died early Monday morning, February 6, 2006, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. He was born March 16, 1930, in Sheboygan, son of the late John Henry and Leona (Schillingowski) Klein. John served in the United States Army. On June 19, 1954, he married the former Jeanette Hoffman in Sheboygan. A few years later, the couple moved to Manitowoc. She preceded him in death November 3, 1991. He was employed at The Manitowoc Company as a Tool & Die Maker. John was a member of the Eagles Club of Manitowoc. Survivors include a son, Robert S. Klein, Manitowoc; a daughter, Susan Gagnon, Manitowoc; three grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Donna Klein, Fond du Lac and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose Marie and Ralph Gilbertson, Sheboygan and Patricia Babcock, East Troy. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Hewas preceded in death by four sisters, Emily, Kathleen, Annette and Caroline. The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006 until the time of service at 1 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2006, at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Paul Kieffer with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc
