A pioneer farmer of the county, aged 72, Joseph Klein of this city passed away
at the Holy Family hospital this morning, death following an operation he

Deceased has been ailing for some time, having made a number of visits at the

county and city friends, did not come unexpectedly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 at the Sacred Heart church,

Joseph Klein was born in Rockland February 24, 1854 and spent his entire life
time in Manitowoc county. In 1879 on November 29, he married Margaret Cashman
