MARIE KLEINBAUER
Mrs. Peter Kleinbauer, 79, of 1110 South 15th street, widow of a
well known Manitowoc contractor, died early today at the home. She
had been in failing health for several months.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Pfeffer funeral
home, the Rev. L.H. Koeninger of the First German Evangelical church
officiating. Burial will be in Evergeen cemetery.
Mrs. Kleinbauer, nee Mary Haupt, was born in Manitowoc Rapids in
1865 and in 1892 was married to Peter Kleinbauer. The latter engaged
in the carpenter business in this city for many years. He died eight
years ago.
Survivors are a son, Oscar, of this city; brother, Henry Haupt of
Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Martens of this city and Mrs.
Frank Windler of Chicago.
The body will lie in state at the Pfeffer funeral home from Thursday
noon until the hour of the services.
