Brothers, Life Long Companions, Die Within a Week.
Life long companions, Christ and Henry Klemma(sic), brothers, were not long
separated by death, the demise of Christ last Saturday being followed by that of
Henry Wednesday, Mr. Klemma passing away at his home on Markham street after an
illness of short duration. Both brothers had been crippled almost since childhood,
Chris suffering a permanent injury at the age of 16 and his brother being crippled
when he was 20. The two formerly resided at Branch but removed to the city four
years ago and had since resided here. A week ago the two became ill, almost at the
same time and death claimed Chris Saturday and Henry followed in death five days
later.
Neither brother had married, the two making their home together. Besides an aged
father, a stepmother and three sisters survive. The funeral will be held from the
late home on Markham street Saturday afternoon, and the body will rest with that
of his brother at Evergreen cemetery.
