Alvin J. Kliment, 60, of 1514 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died early Tuesday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was removed after suffering
a coronary attack at home. Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday at Urbanek
and Schlei Funeral Home and at 10 am at Holy Innocents Catholic church, Manitowoc.
Participating in the concelebrated mass will be the Revs. Leo Schmitt, E. A.
Radey, Adolph Dolezal and D.L. Krembs. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Kliment was born May 14, 1909 in the Town of Gibson, son of Joseph Kliment
and the late Tillie Novy Kliment. He was senior partner in the Peterson Sheet
Metal Works, Manitowoc. He married Evelyn Witt June 16, 1936 at Manitowoc. Mr.
Kliment was a member of the Master Builders Assn., East Wisconsin Sheet Metal
Contractors Assn., Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors of Wisconsin,
faithful navigator of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Assembly and a
member of the Third Degree, Council 710, Serra club, Holy Innocents Catholic
Men, United Commercial Travelers and Travelers Protective Assn.
Survivors include his wife, his father, Joseph of Rt. 2, Two Rivers; three
sisters, Mrs. Clarence Trost of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, Mrs. Russell Halverson of
Rt. 2, Manitowoc and Mrs. Lu Allyn Staudinger of Manitowoc and nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Wednesday where at 7:30 pm
memorial service will be conducted. Memorials may be made to Roncalli High
and Holy Innocents Schools.
