Emma A. Kliment, 94, formerly of 847 N. 12th Street, Manitowoc, who now resided
at St. Mary's Nursing Home, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 1990 at Memorial
Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10 am Thursday at Jens Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. Father David Klutterman will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born January 10, 1896 in Francis Creek, daughter of the late Frank and
Mary Cisler Stastny. She attended schools in the Francis Creek area. She married
Fred Kliment on February 23, 1916 at Francis Creek. Mrs. Kliment worked many
years at Schuette's Dept. Store. She was a 50 year member of the Order of Eastern
Star No. 196 of Manitowoc, member of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a member
of Western Bohemian Fraternal Association.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Lincoln and Mary Jane Kliment of
New Port Richey, Fl., Robert and Karen Kliment of Manitowoc; four grandchildren,
Scott and his wife, Marie Kliment of Houston, Texas, Jane and her husband, Steve
Conway of Milwaukee, Diane and her husband, Terry Bowlby of Lomita, Calif., Linda
and her husband, Tom Vogel of Kewaunee and three great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband and two brothers. Friends may call at Jens Funeral
Home, 5 pm to 8 pm Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to Memorial Hospital.
