EMIL J. KLOIDA

Emil J. Kloida, 86, a former resident of 632 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, who had been residing at Holy Family Hospital, died there Sunday evening after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Kloida was born Dec. 25, 1879, in the Town of Mishicot, son of the late Frank and Mary Rebachek Kloida. He married the former Julia Hunzik (sic) June 25, 1907, at Tisch Mills. The couple moved to Manitowoc where he was employed as a cabinet maker at the old Manitowoc Seating Co., Two Rivers, until his retirement in 1952. His wife preceded him in death May 25, 1957. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Lucille) Hodas and Mrs. Arnold Vogel, two sons, Francis and Emil Jr., a sister, Mrs. Anna Rouse, 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren of Manitowoc. A son, Clarence, preceded him in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will
be recited at 8 p.m. by the Daughters of Isabella and members of the parish.
