DELYLE KLOTZ
Delyle A. Klotz, age 88, of 1405 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at the Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct., 1, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-Grand Ave. Site. The Rev. Dan Felton will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial of his cremated remains will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Delyle was born May 15, 1917, in Kiel; son of the late Joseph and Theresa Klapperich Klotz. On Nov. 28, 1936, Delyle married the former Hermina Jonas. She preceded him in death on Jan. 6, 2005. Delyle worked at the old vocational school on Clark St., in Manitowoc and then transferred to the new school, Lakeshore Technical College, retiring after 35 years in 1982. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. Survivors include one daughter-in-law: Nancy C. Klotz, Manitowoc; four grandchildren: Jeffrey (Donna) Klotz, Hubertus; Cheryl Klotz, Appleton; Jodi (Kenrick) Rohde, Newburg; Stephen (Becki) Klotz, Green Bay; five great-grandchildren: Anna and Karina Klotz, Hubertus; Rebecca, Samantha, and Elizabeth Rohde, Newburg; one sister-in-law: Lucille Klotz, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Delyle was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Hermina; one son: Gordon A. Klotz and one brother: Wilmer Klotz. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish-Grand Avenue from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Parish The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the Klotz family.
