Mrs. Lucille Kluenker(sic), 51, of 3736 Schroeder Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday
at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Glenn Unke will officiate with burial in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kluenker, nee Lucille Lutze, was born March 26, 1925, in the Town of Liberty,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lutze. She attended schools in the Town of Liberty
and was married to George Kluenker Sept. 16, 1944, in the Town of Liberty, moving
to Manitowoc, where they resided. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, was president of the Ladies Aid Society and a member of Esther Circle and
African Medical Missions of the church.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Brooks, of
Sheboygan Falls and Mrs. Dennis (Judith) Behnke, of Brillion; her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Walter Lutze, and a sister, Mrs. William (Elva) Ellert, of Manitowoc,
and two grandsons, Robert Jr. and John Brooks, of Sheboygan Falls.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 to 9 o’clock this Monday
evening until 11 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church from noon until the time of
service. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran building fund or
charity of the donor’s choice.
