Arno Klusmeyer, 53, of 1216 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after a brief illness. He had been a patient
there since Saturday.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. L. H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Klusmeyer was born Oct. 21, 1902, at Manitowoc, son of the late Henry and
Rose Kieselhorst Klusmeyer. He attended local schools and married Ida Drager
in 1930 at Waukegan.
He was employed at Rahr Malting Co. for 30 years and was a member of the
malsters union, the International Union of Brewers, Flour, Cereal and Soft
Drink Distillers Workers of America, Local 297.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, (private), three brothers, Clarence
and Melvin of Manitowoc and Irvin of Rt. 3, Manitowoc, and a sister, Mrs.
Edwin Klusmeyer of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday
when the casket will be moved to the church, where the body may be viewed
from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
