Elmer F. Klusmeyer, 67, of 1911 S. 28th St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon
after a lingering illness at his home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Armin Roekle will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born at Newtonburg Feb. 23, 1890, son of the late William and Bertha
Strodthoff Klusmeyer. He married Olga Jacobsen June 5, 1930, and the couple
resided at Manitowoc. Mr. Klusmeyer was employed by Wisconsin Public Service
Corp. until retirement nine years ago and was a member of the corporation’s
Twenty-Five Year Club.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. ___ Pankratz and Miss Judith Klusmeyer
of Manitowoc; three brothers, Walter and Edwin of Manitowoc and William of Milwaukee;
a sister, Mrs. Henry Stege of Antigo; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Ninth Street entrance of Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, after ? p.m. Sunday until ?? a.m. Monday when the casket will be moved
to the church where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
