Melvin C. Klusmeyer, 67, of Manitowoc County Health Care Center, died Friday evening, June 5, at the center.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate with cremation to follow.
Mr. Klusmeyer was born Oct. 20, 1913, at Newtonburg, son of the late Henry and Rosie Kieselhorst Klusmeyer. He was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc where he worked for many years for the City of Manitowoc. He was a lifelong member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clarence and Ruth Klusmeyer, and Ervin and Ethel Klusmeyer of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Hertha and Edwin Klusmeyer of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters in infancy.
There will be no Sunday evening visitation. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the hour of service. Memorials are appreciated to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,. Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
