Lorraine C. Knutson, age 83, a resident of North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Gerald Foley at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Lorraine was born Oct. 24, 1919 in Manitowoc, to the late Thomas and Clara Bonk Ozga. She married Milton Knutson in 1939 in Manitowoc. Mr. Knutson preceded her in death in 1984. For many years she was employed at Fox Hills Resort in Mishicot and then at the Hotel Manitowoc. Survivors include three children: Robert (Judy) Knutson of Oregon, Wis.; Barbara (Allan) Peroutka of Goodyear, Ariz.; Lori (Chris) Norris of Avondale, Ariz.; a sister: Esther (John) Gross of Manitowoc; her special friends: Gail and Ron Emond of Two Rivers; also nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter: Joan Czechanski; a grandson; John Czechanski; two brothers and a sister. Friends and relatives may call at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, assisted the Knutson family with funeral arrangements.
