Mrs. Elsie M. Koch, 82, a former Lakewood resident, died Thursday noon at a local nursing home. She was living with her daughter, Mrs. Max (Pearl) Foland, 607 Elm St., Wausau, prior to entering the nursing home.
The former Elsie Braun was born Feb. 12, 1897, in town of Scott, daughter of Herman and Antonia Braun. She married Emil in the town of Texas. He survives.
Survivors besides her husband and daughter include a son, Norman Zenk, Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Bernard Braun, Route 5, Merrill; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Helke West Chapel, Wausau. The Rev. Earl Henning of Assemblies of God will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
