GUSTAV KOHLMEIER

Gustav E. Kohlmeier, 73, of route 2, Greenleaf, died yesterday at his home
following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral home, the
Rev. Waldemar W. Gieschen of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran church officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Kohlmeier was born in Germany in 1875 and the family came to Manitowoc when
he was nine years old. For the past 16 years he has lived on the present farm
home near Menchalville. He married Emma Alswede in 1900.
Survivors are the wife; one daughter, Mrs. Reinhardt Fischer of Reedsville; five
sons, Early, Ben, Herbert and Harvey of Manitowoc and Elmer of route 2,
Greenleaf; brother, Herman of Milwaukee; sister, Mrs. William Natscheim of
Cudahy, 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
