Lucille A. Konkle, 72, of 3002 Coolidge Place, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, Aug. 2, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Pastor James A. Ellison will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Konkle was born Dec. 11, 1908, at Krakow, Wis., daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Sutrik Smigelski. She was married to Ernest Konkle Oct. 18, 1927, at Krakow. The couple moved to Manitowoc in 1928 and had resided here since. Mr. Konkle preceded her in death Dec. 16, 1968.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Raymond and Dorothy Konkle, and Gerald Konkle of Manitowoc, and Robert and Sally Konkle of Wisconsin Rapids; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dolores and William Stegmann of Manitowoc, Eileen and William Tauschek of Racine, and Bernice and David Fetterolf of Levittown, Pa.; a brother, Bernard Smigelski of West Bend; six sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Kacerovsky, Mrs. Lillian Zaborowski, Mrs. Stella Budzik, Mrs. Lorraine Salsbury, and Mrs. Emily Pelkowski of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Evelyn Zima of Krakow; 23 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
