MARGARET KORTE
Mrs. Joseph Korte, 38, of Milwaukee, died there yesterday as the result of an
accident earlier in the week. Mrs. Korte is the former Margaret Gilbertson,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gilbertson, 821 South 19th street.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Pfeffer funeral home, the
Rev. R. B. Walden officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body
will be brought here from the Peacock funeral home in Milwaukee Sunday evening
and will lie in state at Pfeffer’s from 10 a.m. Monday until time of services.
Mrs. Korte was born here in 1909 and was married to Joseph Korte 15 years ago.
Survivors are the husband, parents, two sisters, Mrs. Emil Buresh of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Julia Janson of Traverse City, Mich.; two brothers, Gunder of Fairfax,
Va., and Oslo of Manitowoc.
