Mrs. Anna Kostlevy, 89, widow of Peter Kostlevy, passed away yesterday at the
home of her son, Anton Kostlevy, 827 North Eighth street, with whom she has made
her home for years. Death was due to infirmities of old age. Funeral services
will be held from the chapel at the Frazier Mortuary Friday afternoon at two
oclock, with interment at Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased has been a resident of Manitowoc for 65 years. She was born in
Bohemia in 1840 and came to this country in 1865 settled in this county and
locating in this city four years later. Her maiden name was Anna Buric, and
her husband, Peter Kostlevy, has been deceased forty years.
One son, Anton Kostlevy of this city, a daughter, Mrs. Anna Ouda of Chicago
and four grandchildren survive.
