Mrs. Frank (June V.) Kowalski, 62, of 1325 S. 11th Street, Manitowoc, died Monday morning, January 21, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert B. Hays will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kowalski was born June 5, 1922, at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Arthur and Viola Heise Bergquist. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1940. After graduation she worked as a court reporter in Manitowoc County Court and then as a stenographer for the Family Service Association. She married Frank J. Kowalski on May 3, 1947, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Mrs. Kowalski was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; twin brothers, John and William Bergquist of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Violet) Neuman of Manitowoc, Mrs. Norman (Helen) Ploor of Janesville, Mrs. Louis (Betty) Leibly of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Leo (Ione) Kahl of Manitowoc, and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday evening and Wednesday until the time of services.
