HEART ATTACK IS FATAL TO KRAHN
Funeral Services For William Krahn On Saturday
Stricken with a heart attack at 10 o'clock Thursday evening, death
came two minutes later to William "Mig" Krahn, while at the Anton
Olson soft drink parlor on Commercial street. Dr. Max Staehle and
Dr. Stueck were called to the hotel but death had come before they
arrived. On several occasions Mr. Krahn had been subject to heart
attacks but no serious thought had been given the condition. Mr.
Krahn was well known in the city as "Mig" Krahn having resided in
Manitowoc his entire life. On Nov. 17 he was 47 years of age. For
the past 20 years he had made his home with his sister, Mrs. Leo
Kluczinske, 715 North Sixth street. During the late years the
deceased has been employed as janitor at the Orpheum Theater previous
to which time he had been a stage manager both at the Opera house and
at the Orpheum. Several years ago Mr. Krahn had been a bartender at
the Olson hotel where he died last night. Surviving are three sisters,
Mrs. Kluczinske, Mrs. V.R. Nicholson both of Manitowoc and Mrs. Grover
Tinder of Milwaukee. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at
2pm at the home of his sister, Mrs. Kluczinske with the Rev. M.S. Weber
officiating. Interment at Evergreen cemetery. The deceased had been a
member of the Bartenders' Union of Manitowoc.
