Wilhelm Krahn, who has been a resident of our city for 42 years, died Sunday at
age 57. The deceased formerly worked in the factory of Smalley Manufacturing Co.
until illness forced him to give up his work. He leaves a widow, 3 daughters, a son,
his elderly mother and several sisters. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon.

William Krahn died at his home on North 6th street Sunday forenoon after a
protracted illness. He was 57 years old. He was born in Germany and came to
this country with his parents in 1865. He is survived by his wife and four
children, William Krahn, Jr, Misses Clara and Amanda of this city and Mrs.
Anna Shelow of Sault St. Marie. His aged mother and a sister, Mrs. L. Wilke
of this city, and two brothers, Fred Krahn of Marshfield and Frank Krahn of
Kankanna (sic) also survive him.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Potter officiating. Interment
was at Evergreen cemetery.
