Mrs. Frank (Esther) Kreil, 81, a resident of Family Heritage Home, formerly of 1318 Green St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon, November 3, at the home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kreil, nee Ester Folletz, was born April 7, 1900, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Sam and Lena Seluga Folletz. She grew up in Manitowoc, was educated in Manitowoc schools and lived here all her life. She was married to Frank A. Kreil June 22, 1918, at Manitowoc. Mrs. Kreil was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and a life member of Shoto conservation Club.
Survivors include her husband, Frank, two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Bernice Kreil and Harold and Grace Kreil of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, June and Earl Stock of Albany, Calif.; two brothers, Arthur Folletz of Manitowoc and Walter Folletz of South Dakota; three sisters, Mrs. T.C. (Eleanor) Eckhart and Mrs. Wilber (Isabel) Maertz of Manitowoc and Mrs. Alfred (Martha) Naibert of Sturgeon Bay, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. An infant daughter, Esther, and a brother, Erwin preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday until 11 a.m. Friday, and at the church from noon until the hour of service.
