Mrs. Jerry W. (Barbara) Krejcie, 89, of 1110 Fairmont Lane, Manitowoc, died
Monday morning, January 11, at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc.
Private family services will be Wednesday morning at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. Deacon candidate Phillip S. Andrastek will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Krejcie, nee Barbara Velicer, was born April 30, 1892, at Oconto, daughter
of the late Joseph and Katherine Weber Velicer. She moved with her family as a
child to the Stangelville area, where she attended local schools. Later they
moved to Two Rivers for a short time and then to Manitowoc in 1921, residing here
since. She was married to Jerry W. Krejcie Oct. 17, 1934, at Waukegan, Ill. He
preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1949.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Edwin and Lorna Krejcie, a daughter
and son-in-law, Viola and Stanley Andrastek and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Shirley
Krejcie of Manitowoc, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and nieces and
nephews. A son, Clarence, two brothers, Martin and Joseph and two sisters, Mary
and Katie preceded her in death.
There will be no visitation. Mass offerings would be appreciated to St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
