Edward Krejcie, 88, formerly of 921 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died early Sunday
morning, March 2, at Family Heritage Home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. John Deason will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Krejcie was born July 18, 1891, at Melnik, son of the late Emmanuel and
Marie Steuber Krejcie. He was educated at Melnik and owned and operated Krejcie
Cheese Factory at Kellnersville until 1912, when he moved to Manitowoc. He
married Anna Chizek Nov. 22, 1911, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death
Jan. 14, 1974. Mr. Krejcie had been employed with Madsen Seed Company and later
with Mirro Corporation until 1958. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Victor E. and Agnes Krejcie and a
daughter, Mrs. Grace Ambrogio of Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Blanche
Krejcie and Mrs. Barbara Krejcie of Manitowoc; four grandchildren and nine great
grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, 5 o'clock to 8 o'clock this
Monday evening and Tuesday until the time of service.
