ROLAND L. KRETCHE
Roland L. Kretche, 52 (above), of 812 State street, Manitowoc, veteran office
employe of the Aluminum Goods company, died suddenly shortly before noon
Tuesday.
He was stricken with a heart attack at his apartment and rushed to the Holy
Family hospital in an ambulance, but died a short time later.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral
home, Manitowoc. Dr. C.H. Phipps of the First Presbyterian church will officiate
and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Kretche was born in Manitowoc in 1899, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kretche. He
attended the north side schools and served with American forces in World War I.
Thirty eight years ago he took an office position with the Aluminum Goods company
in Manitowoc and was active until a few days ago. He was a member of the Drews-
Bleser post of the American Legion.
In 1924 he married Miss Grace Stueber. She died two years ago.
Survivors are a daughter (Private), father, Frank of Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Roland
Hansen of Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home, after Thrusday noon, until the hour of
services Friday.
