ELFAE R. KRIES

Miss Elfie (sic) R. Kries, 80, a resident of Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc, died
Monday at Park Lawn Home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Dale Tutje will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Miss Kries was born March 23, 1897, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late William
and Elizabeth Stephani Kries. She was a Manitowoc resident all her life and
attended Manitowoc schools. Miss Kries was a receptionist and medical assistant
to Drs. F. W. Hammond and Reginald Hammond for many years. She was a past member
of Medical Assistants Organization and Business and Professional Womens Club and
a member of A.A.R.P.
Survivors include three sisters, Miss Thelma J. Kries of Manitowoc, Mrs. E. G.
(Dorothy) Halby, of Naples, Glaeser (sic) of Sturgeon Bay, nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mrs. Mildred Hitch, preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
